Constructed between 1863 and 1890, this exquisite property features ornate designs and lavish details, making it a stunning backdrop for a variety of events.

Labassa accommodates functions of various sizes, with the glamorous Drawing Room perfect for cocktail-style gatherings, while the Dining Room is ideal for corporate events, intimate dinners, or private celebrations. The Music Room, known for its exceptional acoustics, serves as an excellent venue for performances, ensuring a captivating experience for all.

As a rare example of 19th-century grandeur, Labassa transitioned from a mansion to a tenement, with a vibrant history that includes notable residents such as silent movie stars, artists, and bohemians. The mansion's architectural highlights include lavish Japanese wallpapers, ornate stained glass, and a rare trompe l’oeil ceiling, showcasing the craftsmanship of German-born architect John A. B. Koch, who transformed it into a 35-room mansion with breathtaking views across Port Phillip Bay.
